The first progress meeting took place in Karlsruhe at the Forstliches Bildungszentrum on the KIT campus from 17th-18th July 2014. A workshop on how to use the audio-tactile device IVEO was offered to the participants of the meeting. Moreover, the results of a multilingual study was presented. The aim of the study was to collect possible obstacles appearing on different types of maps. The participants also discussed further work including a second study which aims at assessing the importance and the frequency of appearance of various obstacles.
